I am pleased to announce a new series of intensive weekend writers workshops in the Catskills, beginning this June. In honor of our inaugural season, we are offering a discount to all Yale alumni and their friends. On 9/11-13, Yale 97 and Granta Best Young American Novelist Jess Row (The Train to Lo Wu, Random House) leads students in a fiction workshop. On 6/5-6/7, editor Meg Storey of Tin House Books and writer Casey Kait (New Orleans Review, Yalobusha Review, Lullwater Review, 52Stories) teach on the importance of a projects first five pages and the art of the book proposal.
