I'm helping my landlord fill the apartment I currently rent. (I'm only leaving because I'm moving out of NYC for work; otherwise I wouldn't give this apartment up.) This is a rare opportunity to get in a RENT STABILIZED place with NO BROKER'S FEE!

-One or two year lease
-Available April 1
-Located on Columbia Place, a quiet tree-lined street that's often called the most beautiful in the neighborhood
-Unfurnished, but I'm willing to sell some of mine for cheap
-Second floor walk up
-Friendly neighbors
-Pets okay with permission
-Building has a (somewhat industrial, but accessible) roof with great views of downtown Manhattan
-Laundry on the corner
-Dog park, community garden and playground just steps away

Requirements?  Income (combined income if it's a couple) must be 40x the monthly rent and you'd have to give the management company the following things: $75 money order or bank check for a credit check, copy of valid photo id (drivers license or passport), copy of social security card, w2 from 2009, 3 consecutive current pay stubs.

Subways:
M, R: approximately 8-10 minute walk down Montague Street, with shops, restaurants, etc.
2, 3, 4, 5: approximately 8-10 minute walk down Joralemon Street, a cobblestone street lined with lovely brownstones
A, C, F, G: approximately 12-15 minute walk

The area:
You're in Brooklyn Heights (with Montague Street, the Promenade, etc.), but also right across Atlantic Avenue from Cobble Hill and a short walk to all the shops and restaurants of Carroll Gardens on Smith and Court Streets. Key Foods and Trader Joe's are both close. Target is a short bus ride away. There's a lovely cafe right below the apartment and an Italian restaurant coming in soon.
