The Public Service/Social Justice Committee of the YALE ALUMNI ASSOCIATION OF METROPOLITAN NEW YORK is proud to partner with the Yale Club of New York City and the Association of Yale Alumni to sponsor the Second Annual YALE DAY OF SERVICE, on May 15, 2010.
On this day, thousands of Yale Alumni, family members, and friends will gather to volunteer for meaningful events and projects stemming from the laborious (sprucing up parks, planting gardens & painting) to the more intellectually stimulating (reading books to children, assisting with job applications & college applications) throughout the New York City Area as well as around the globe. During the first global Yale Day of Service (2009), we had the pleasure of helping over 500 Yale Alumni & their family & friends serve at approximately 20 sites.
We are currently looking for projects/sites throughout the New York City area that will accommodate and inspire volunteers to serve their communities and fellow New Yorkers. Please contact Amanda Taffy at This email address is hidden from email harvesters via JavaScript with suggestions or for further details/questions.
